Purpose (Mission) Statement

Diamond Lakes Federal Credit Union is a safe and inclusive financial cooperative that offers affordable financial services, educational programs, and support to the people of Central and Southwest Arkansas, regardless of their economic status, while encouraging saving wisely, using credit responsibly and building knowledge to improve their financial well-being.

Building on our commitment to community development, we will create a financial support system dedicated to improving the social and economic condition of people in our community. Together, we will work tirelessly to create a brighter and more prosperous future for our community, one where financial stability and well-being are within reach for all, including those who are economically distressed.

Our History

Diamond Lakes Federal Credit Union, originally called the Jones Mills Federal Credit Union, was formed in 1960 to serve the employees of the Reynolds Metals Reduction Plant. Over the years, the credit union has expanded its membership base to include individuals who live, work, worship, attend school or regularly conduct business in and employers and organizations in the Diamond Lakes Region.
